About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Structural Engineer with a focus on Nuclear Energy to join our team at Jobot. This exciting role involves working on innovative projects within the energy industry, specifically in the design, analysis, and development of nuclear power plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze nuclear power plant structures using advanced engineering principles.
  • Prepare, review, and approve engineering change packages to ensure compliance with design requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical reports and documentation related to structural design and analysis.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to safety regulations and standards, including ACI and ASIC codes.
  • Conduct structural integrity assessments and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Participate in design reviews, safety assessments, and other project meetings.
  • Provide technical support to construction and operations teams as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably within the nuclear energy industry.
  • Proficiency in designing and analyzing structural systems for nuclear power plants.
  • Familiarity with Engineering Change Packages and the preparation of technical reports.
  • Strong knowledge of ACI and ASIC codes, as well as other relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative engineering solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating strong collaboration skills.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
