Mathematics Instructor for Calculus II

Sarah Lawrence College seeks a mathematician to teach Calculus II for the fall 2024 and spring 2025 terms. The position is a half-time guest appointment, requiring two full days of presence on campus for the fall and spring terms.
Responsibilities- Teach Calculus II to a maximum of 15 students
- Meet one-on-one with each student every other week to assist in individualized project development
- Contribute to a diverse and inclusive learning environment
- College-level teaching experience
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Application materials must include a cover letter, resume, and three letters of recommendation. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Compensation is on a per-course basis, contingent on teaching experience.
