Position: Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Technician
In the automotive industry, skilled technicians are essential. At Gullo Auto, we value our service professionals and ensure they are treated with respect and appreciation. As a technician, you will collaborate with some of the most experienced individuals in the field. Your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing and repairing both client and dealership vehicles while fostering a positive rapport with customers who may return with concerns regarding previous services. We pride ourselves on our integrity and seek dedicated, honest technicians who share our values.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations and diagnostics of vehicles
- Engage in discussions regarding repairs with the shop foreman or service advisor
- Communicate any additional service needs to the service advisor
- Coordinate work procedures in collaboration with the shop foreman
- Provide accurate labor time estimates to the service advisor
- Monitor repair timelines and keep the service advisor updated
- Adhere strictly to dealership policies regarding vehicle care and operations
- Document all client repairs and maintain detailed records
- Assist in the training and mentoring of technician trainees
- Participate in company and manufacturer training sessions
- Stay informed about factory technical bulletins
- Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with 1 to 3 months of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
