Job Overview
Candidates will engage in supporting assembly and material handling teams, concentrating on production and product packaging. Responsibilities include utilizing hand and power tools to execute tasks on an assembly line, adhering to work procedures to finalize builds, and participating in shipping and receiving training. Additional responsibilities encompass assisting the warehouse and materials team with shipping inventory and managing materials for the production team. Tasks also involve robotics assembly and testing, material movement, data collection, manual assembly, component testing, visual inspection, and inventory tracking and reconciliation.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in using various hand tools for large mechanical assemblies
  • Manual dexterity for assembly tasks
  • Physical strength and endurance for assembling, installing, and testing components weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Familiarity with basic power tools
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and associated tools
  • Experience with 5S Principles and Kaizen methodologies
  • Knowledge of manufacturing execution systems
  • Certification or degree in electro-mechanical fields

Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Capability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities
