Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at EMCO Glade Springs Hospitality. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining room equipment, including dish machines, pots, pans, and utensils.
  • Keep kitchen work areas clean, including dry storage and walk-in coolers, and ensure that all trash and recycling are properly disposed of.
  • Assist in stocking and rotating incoming products, and complete assigned prep work in accordance with the Chef's specifications.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Alert the Chef or supervisor to any equipment breakdowns or issues that may impact food safety or quality.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
Requirements
  • Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to function and be flexible in a changing environment.
  • Demonstrates safe work habits and a commitment to food safety and sanitation.
  • Current food safety certification.
  • Willingness to work and be a part of a team is essential.
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this role include standing or walking for full 8-hour shifts, frequently standing, walking, talking, hearing, using hands to finger, feel or handle, reaches with hands and arms, and occasionally stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. The work environment is occasionally wet or humid, and regularly works in extreme cold and heat.
