The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Surveyor / Site Engineer to become part of a well-established and rapidly expanding international concrete and construction firm that is committed to your professional development. CoGri USA operates within the Materials Handling Industry, assisting clients with the installation of automated systems that necessitate precise surveys and potential adjustments to stringent tolerances. Our surveying team is tasked with executing these surveys according to the specifications of each system.
This distinctive position offers the right candidate a chance to enhance their expertise while traveling across the United States and internationally, including destinations such as the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize various testing equipment to assess different concrete attributes, including flatness, levelness, abrasion resistance, gloss, and slip resistance.
- Generate detailed reports post-survey to communicate findings to clients, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Maintain expense records through an online application, including mileage tracking and progress updates.
Excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Benefits
Upon successful completion of a 3-month probationary period, employees will gain access to a company vehicle and healthcare benefits. All travel expenses, including overnight stays, are covered by the company, along with a per diem allowance for meals while traveling. A company credit card will be provided for necessary on-site purchases and travel-related expenses.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess experience in testing or surveying, or have a background in construction. A college degree is not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided. A strong aptitude for mathematics is crucial, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel. A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a current US passport are required. Familiarity with total stations is advantageous.
Successful applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
