**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Infectious Disease Specialist to join our team at the Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center, Inc.

**About the Role:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive health care services to high-risk patients, including those with HIV/AIDS. They will diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of human internal organ systems, examine patients for symptoms of organic or congenital disorders, and recommend medication and dietary and activity programs as needed.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with infectious diseases.

2. Provide preventive care, including periodic physical examinations, immunizations, health education, and preventive screenings.

3. Treat, counsel, and refer patients with chronic conditions for rehabilitation.

4. Coordinate specialty services for consultation and treatment.

5. Refer and follow up with patients requiring in-patient care at affiliated hospitals.

6. Participate in Continuing Professional Education programs to maintain current certifications.

7. Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive team care.

**Requirements:**

1. Graduate of an approved medical school.

2. Licensure in New York State.

3. Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine/Infectious Disease.

4. Current BLS certification.

**Estimated Salary:** $180,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience.
