We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Belle Terrace. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing rehabilitation services to our patients, helping them to overcome communication difficulties and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients' levels of speech or language difficulty through communication and assessment.
- Determine the extent of communication problems by administering standardized tests and having patients complete reading and vocalizing tasks.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs.
- Teach patients techniques to improve their voices and swallow functions.
- Work collaboratively with patients to develop and strengthen the muscles used for swallowing.
- Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy Program.
- Current PA State Speech Therapy License.
- Experience in skilled nursing settings preferred.
- Proven exceptional customer service and patient care experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
