Medical Disability Examiner

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to conduct thorough medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Your role will involve reviewing electronic medical records and performing in-person physical exams on each Veteran, with documentation of exam findings through a web portal. It is essential to note that you will not be making disability determinations, as these decisions fall under the jurisdiction of the United States Veterans Administration.
This position exclusively focuses on conducting Disability Assessments for Veterans, with no responsibilities involving treatment or prescription medication. On average, you can expect to evaluate 3-5 Veterans daily.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm, with an emphasis on in-person interactions.
Key Requirements:
- A genuine interest in independent medical evaluations.
- Strong analytical skills to assess data from medical records and exam findings.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Possession of a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
