Job Overview:

The Lot Attendant/Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the dealership's inventory and lot organization, ensuring a clean, organized, and presentable environment for customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and stage new vehicles for display, ensuring they are clean and well-maintained
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify any damage or issues, reporting them to management promptly
  • Maintain the lot's cleanliness, including regular trash removal and sweeping, to create a positive customer experience
  • Prepare and move vehicles for service appointments or customer deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient processing
  • Assist the sales team with vehicle delivery and pickup, providing excellent customer service
  • Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Assist in maintaining accurate electronic and physical inventory records, ensuring seamless operations
  • Help maintain lot security by ensuring all vehicles are locked and secure, protecting the dealership's assets
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the dealership's success
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in organizational skills
  • Previous experience in a dealership or similar automotive role, with a proven track record of success
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles, with a valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with the stamina to stand for long periods
  • Detail-oriented with strong attention to cleanliness, ensuring a high level of quality in all aspects of the job
  • Basic computer skills for recordkeeping purposes, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems
Compensation and Benefits:

This is a full-time, hourly position in the Auto industry, with a competitive pay rate of $15 per hour, paid weekly. Additionally, employees have access to health benefits and employee discounts on vehicles and services.
