Part-Time Asset Protection Specialist

Funko is seeking a skilled Part-Time Asset Protection Agent to support general operations throughout our Retail store in Hollywood, CA. As an Asset Protection Agent, you will play a critical role in protecting our assets, employees, customers, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor public areas for unusual activity and potential threats.
- Monitor security system cameras.
- Identify potential thieves from customers or staff.
- Document theft and other violations of security, and what they observed on duty.
- Work with law enforcement to detain suspects of shoplifting or dishonest employees.
- Patrol the floor and report any suspicious behavior.
- Assist guests in the store with any questions they may have.
- Report any hazards that may be caused for someone to hurt themselves.
- 1 or more years of prior security or military field experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of safety and security standards or loss prevention practices, and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail, observation, and recall skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills required.
- Maintain professionalism and composure when dealing with an unusual, difficult, or stressful situation.
- Able to maintain confidentiality regarding employee, and visitor incidents and security matters.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance to meet company standards and represent the company positively.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
