Position Overview
The Electrical Field Specialist will participate in a variety of assignments, projects, and tasks of differing complexity while utilizing standard engineering practices and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the development of layouts or plans based on approved schematics or designs.
• Analyze foundational designs and specifications to facilitate engineering inquiries throughout all stages of process enhancement.
• Procure materials and foster relationships with suppliers and vendors as necessary.
• Generate daily reports to summarize project advancements.
• Comprehend the Quantity Progress Report (QPR) concerning electrical installation monitoring.
• Complete the Time Allocation Tool (TAT) to align with QPR.
• Finalize turnover documentation.
• Monitor cable management and update cable schedules.
• Prepare electrical termination documentation.
• Maintain radio communication on-site.
• Upload and print electrical schematics for field supervisors.
• Conduct spot checks on field quantities and project status.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Document Control to ensure drawings are up-to-date.
• Understand and monitor the Scope of Work.
• Execute quantity tracking and report findings to the Project Management Office (PMO).
• Assist Superintendents with schedule assessments and three-week forecasts.
Qualifications
• At least 2 years of field experience in Heavy Industrial or Solar sectors preferred.
• An engineering degree is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment to meet project timelines.
• Capable of working both collaboratively and independently.
