Job Overview

This role is part of our innovative ThinkBIG Program, designed to train passionate individuals in the world of Caterpillar diesel technology. You will spend half of each semester attending technical and general education courses at Florence Darlington Technical College (FDTC), followed by a paid internship at Blanchard Machinery, applying learned content in a real-world setting.

As a Think Big Student Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Attending technical and general education courses at FDTC
  • Applying learned content in a real-world setting during the paid internship at Blanchard Machinery
  • Diagnosing and repairing Caterpillar equipment
  • Engaging in both academic and practical assessments to demonstrate skill development
