Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in administering prescribed doses of ionizing radiation to patients, ensuring accurate and safe treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Administer prescribed doses of ionizing radiation to patients according to physicians' written prescriptions and established departmental policies and procedures.
- Perform adjuvant procedures that aid in the management of patient care, including preparing patients for treatment and monitoring their response to therapy.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest radiation therapy techniques and technologies to provide high-quality patient care.
- Graduate of an approved American Registry of Radiologic Therapy Program or equivalent education/experience.
- National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
- California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
- 1 year of experience in radiation therapy preferred.
