As a Baker II at Harrah's and Harveys Lake Tahoe, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and colleagues while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in our bakery operations.

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts for our food outlets, including Starbucks
• Assist the Chefs and Shift Leaders in the smooth production of all bakery items
• Provide superior customer service and interact positively with internal and external customers
• Receive, store, and distribute bakery supplies and products
• Accurately scale and measure ingredients for daily production assignments

• Associate Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in a hotel or retail bakery required, 2-3 years experience preferred
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English and speak distinctly and persuasively to others
• Knowledge of general baking principles and ability to interpret formulas and calculate quantity conversions

The Baker II will work in a fast-paced bakery environment with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and dust. The ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and push or pull food carts weighing up to 450 pounds is required.
