About the Community:
AdventHealth is enhancing healthcare services in southern Hillsborough County with the establishment of a new hospital, which will feature advanced medical technology and innovative practices.
· The new facility will initially have 82 beds, with plans to expand to 202 beds in the future.
· This significant investment also includes a Medical Office Building designed to offer convenient access to a variety of healthcare services.
· The hospital will provide comprehensive healthcare services, including emergency care, cardiovascular services, and specialized women's health.
Your Role:
The Certified Respiratory Therapist will oversee and deliver respiratory care to diverse patient demographics. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to meet established health goals. Compliance with all relevant regulations and standards is essential, as is a commitment to exceptional customer service and respectful interactions.
Your Contributions:
· Conduct thorough assessments and make informed decisions based on patient evaluations. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to set patient goals and develop care plans.
· Complete necessary training and certifications, ensuring proficiency in all required procedures.
· Adhere to safety protocols and maintain accurate documentation for all procedures performed.
· Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing life-saving interventions as needed.
Qualifications:
Essential Education and Experience:
· Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
· Additional certifications such as RRT, CPFT, or NPS are advantageous.
Licensure and Certification Requirements:
· Current state license as a Certified Respiratory Therapist.
· Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
· ACLS and PALS certifications are required within specified timeframes.
