Walterscheid Powertrain Group is seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team. As an Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling components and subassemblies according to blueprint specifications and quality standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assemble components and subassemblies using assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and quality control procedures.
- Position parts and subassemblies using templates or reading measurements to ensure accurate fit and alignment.
- Verify specifications by measuring completed components to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Resolve assembly problems by adjusting dimensions or notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing results as needed and cross-training in all areas of assembly.
**Physical Demands:**
- Constant standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.
**Benefits:**
- Eligible for a $2,000.00 sign-on bonus.
- Eligible for a wage increase every 180 calendar days until reaching top of wage range (certain restrictions apply).
