Role Overview:

The Vision Products Group (VPG) is in search of a proficient Integration Software Engineer to transition innovative algorithms from concept to deployment while collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for implementing and integrating advanced algorithms that enhance user experiences across diverse applications.

Your role will involve delivering high-quality production code while leveraging state-of-the-art technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and maintain APIs to support seamless integration.
  • Benchmark and optimize performance for enhanced efficiency.
  • Refine existing implementations to improve functionality.
  • Develop tools and infrastructure for algorithm evaluation and enhancement.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, testing, and maintenance.
  • Proficient in C and/or C++ with a focus on clean, structured coding practices.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
  • Familiarity with build systems like GNU Make/CMake, Xcode, or Visual Studio.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to successful completion.
  • Understanding of software/hardware parallelism, threading, and asynchronous processing.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra and 3D geometry.
  • Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Background in Computer Vision and/or Computer Graphics is advantageous.
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and performance optimization is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Apple frameworks using Objective-C and/or Swift is beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with a proven track record of successful projects.
Compensation and Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is just one aspect of our comprehensive compensation package, which is determined within a competitive range. This structure allows for growth and development within your role.

The base pay range for this position is between $175,800 and $312,200, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees have the opportunity to participate in discretionary stock programs and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
