Position Overview- Specialty: Physical Therapy

The ideal candidate will possess experience in treating a diverse range of neurological conditions and should have a keen interest in working with vestibular patients. We welcome applicants with strong clinical backgrounds in outpatient neuro rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately document evaluation results, ensuring clarity and completeness as per departmental standards.
- Maintain daily progress notes that reflect patient responses to treatment and assess their status concerning the treatment plan.
- Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and legible within established timeframes to facilitate ongoing treatment and reimbursement processes.
- Provide education to patients and their families/caregivers, ensuring they understand treatment plans and procedures.
- Collaborate with families, physicians, and healthcare team members to anticipate and address patient needs effectively.
- Deliver appropriate instructional guidance to assistive personnel in line with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
- Engage in leadership roles within committees and special projects, leveraging clinical expertise.
- Exhibit fiscal responsibility regarding departmental resources, including supplies and equipment.
- Stay informed about the latest therapeutic techniques and evaluation methods.
- Demonstrate innovative problem-solving skills when adapting treatments to meet unique patient circumstances.
- Manage the entire course of Physical Therapy patient care from initial contact through to discharge, focusing on functional progress and safety.
- Address discharge planning needs from the outset of treatment.
- Administer and interpret appropriate assessment tools/tests based on team feedback.
- Develop prioritized goals and treatment plans that incorporate input from patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Certification: Basic Life Support upon start
- Licensure: Physical Therapist upon start
