Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate proficiency in Ovation DCS systems, including completion of OV215 and OV216 certification.
- Interpret and analyze P&ID Plans and adhere to Industry Specifications.
- Engage in SCADA Hardware and Software management.
- Execute PLC Programming utilizing ladder logic and function blocks.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will hold a BSEE or BS in Computer Science, or possess equivalent experience, along with 3-5 years in Instrumentation and Controls. Proven skills in design, engineering, startup, testing, and project implementation are essential. Effective communication skills are required to interact with clients and ensure all deliverables are met on schedule.
Review and validate Specifications, I&C Control drawings, HMI screens, PLC programs, and SCADA systems to ensure compliance with customer Factory Test requirements.
Strong organizational and analytical skills are necessary to effectively convey company and client needs across departments and with external vendors. A comprehensive understanding of industry-standard design methodologies, such as ISA and UL 508A, alongside a technical background in engineering controls, is required. Familiarity with current electrical safety standards, including NEC and OSHA, is also essential.
Travel Requirements:
Travel is anticipated to be less than 25%. Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is mandatory.
