About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Cedar Crest, a beautiful 130-acre continuing care retirement community in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents in all aspects of daily living, providing person-centered care to ensure we meet all of their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support residents with physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Implement residents' personal care plans, focusing on their strengths, preferences, and preferred routines
  • Provide assistance with resident activities and programs
  • Work with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely manner
  • Administer medication to residents as needed
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Current CNA certification for the state in which you are working
  • Current certification for Medication Administration - per state requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of Medication Administration experience preferred
  • Current CPR certification preferred
