We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Technician to join our team at Kent Hospital. As a key member of our Emergency Services department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our emergency rooms.
Key Responsibilities- Transport patients between different hospital units, ensuring timely and safe transfers.
- Maintain a well-stocked Emergency Services department, ensuring that all necessary supplies are readily available.
- Administer CPR, check vital signs, and perform phlebotomy and electrocardiograms as needed, in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Ensure the emergency rooms are clean, organized, and free of clutter, promoting a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
- Adjust crutches for patients as necessary, providing assistance with mobility and comfort.
- Obtain food orders from the kitchen, ensuring that patients receive timely and nutritious meals.
- Transport discharged patients via wheelchair to their vehicles, providing a safe and dignified exit.
- Deliver specimens as needed, adhering to hospital protocols and procedures.
- Vocational or technical training, combined with over six months of job-related experience or equivalent, is required for this role.
- A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license is mandatory for this position.
