Baker Position

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing baked goods according to recipes and production specifications.

• Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets.
• Ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes, following prescribed production standards, and using proper equipment.
• Assist with the completion of production records, including waste tracking, used/unused portions, and product shortages.
• Maintain proper presentation, food quality, portion control, and serving temperatures.
• Ensure sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils within the work area.
• Handle food items appropriately and with all safety regulations in mind during preparation and service.
• Clean equipment and workstations thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments.
• Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly and customer-service-oriented manner.
• Exhibit the ability to keep up with peak production and service calmly, accurately, and efficiently.
