Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our MinuteClinic team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients, working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and family care to patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient preferences and needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Conduct routine examinations, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as needed, ensuring safe and effective use.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
  • Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
