The Physical Therapist Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services across various patient diagnoses. This position involves comprehensive assessment, targeted intervention, and patient education, alongside meticulous program planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively organize and modify daily schedules to maximize the use of available resources, ensuring optimal patient care.
- Implement appropriate therapeutic techniques based on current best practices and evidence-based standards tailored to individual patient needs.
- Conduct relevant assessments and measurements suitable for the patient's age and specific conditions to facilitate accurate diagnosis.
- Establish clear, objective, and measurable goals that align with the evaluation findings.
- Design and execute treatment plans that are coherent with the established goals.
- Engage in the mentorship of fellow team members when necessary, providing educational support as requested by supervisors or program managers.
- Maintain precise and timely documentation of patient records to reflect progress in accordance with departmental protocols.
- Complete all required departmental and corporate documentation accurately and promptly.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Licensure:
- Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Tennessee.
Experience:
- No prior experience required.
