Stockroom Coordinator

OBJECTIVE:

This role is essential for overseeing the stockroom and ensuring optimal inventory levels of spare components, while effectively reducing surplus and preventing stock shortages.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
• Background in inventory management

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Proficiency in data analysis
• Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, electronic, and automation parts
• Forklift operation experience is advantageous

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Oversee, track, and uphold appropriate MIN and MAX inventory levels of spare parts, while minimizing excess stock and shortages.

• Update or establish missing MAX and MIN levels based on statistical part usage.

• Reconcile inventory count reports.

• Organize, categorize, and label the entire inventory in accordance with company standards, ensuring compliance with local regulations and BRC guidelines.

• Conduct a comprehensive physical inventory at least once annually.

• Ensure system records align with physical stock to maintain accurate inventory valuation.

• Develop a barcode asset tracking system for efficient issue tracking.

• Initiate stock replenishment actions by coordinating with Purchasing and other departments, including transfer orders and related documentation.
