Job Description:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a school district in Peterborough, NH, for the upcoming academic year. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide essential healthcare services to students in a school setting, ensuring their well-being and supporting a healthy learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct healthcare services to students, including first aid, medication administration, and management of chronic health conditions.
  • Conduct health assessments and develop care plans for students with special health needs.
  • Monitor and manage communicable diseases within the school environment, adhering to state and federal health guidelines.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to coordinate care and address health-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records for students.
  • Educate students, staff, and parents on health and wellness topics.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide crisis intervention when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire.
  • Preferred: Experience in pediatric or school nursing.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time position during school hours, Monday through Friday.
  • Occasional after-school hours may be required for special events or emergencies.
