Meat Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat Helper to join our team at K-VA-T Food Stores Inc. As a Meat Helper, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and courteous customer service experience in our meat department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized meat department, including display cases and storage areas.
• Assist in receiving and stocking meat products, ensuring accurate inventory and pricing.
• Follow company food safety protocols and maintain a clean and sanitized work environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
