We are in search of a motivated Lead Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to help us achieve our objectives.

Role Responsibilities

The Lead Respiratory Therapy Supervisor will oversee the performance of the cardiopulmonary team, ensuring adherence to established protocols and policies. This role requires strong interdepartmental collaboration and interpersonal skills to foster effective working relationships across various hospital departments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Director in onboarding new staff and evaluating their competencies.
  • Conducting annual performance reviews and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Managing scheduling and special projects to enhance departmental efficiency.
  • Delivering both critical and non-critical respiratory care in alignment with physician directives and established protocols.
  • Coordinating respiratory care services with other medical departments and serving as a technical resource for staff.
  • Ensuring optimal department operations and resource utilization to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Regularly assessing service quality to guarantee exceptional patient care.
  • Taking on patient assignments as necessary.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Neonate Resuscitation certification.
  • State Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials.
