The Educational Alliance is seeking a Children's Developmental Specialist to join our after school program team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the cognitive, social, and emotional development of children in a fun and engaging way.

  • You will work directly with children ages K-5th grade, providing them with a personalized experience that meets their unique needs and interests.
  • You will collaborate with Social Work Interns and Teachers when necessary to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for all participants.
Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support children's developmental needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to children in areas such as literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to plan and deliver engaging and meaningful activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
