Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Educator at Clay Healthcare Center

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse with a passion for education and a background in Long Term Care to serve as our Nurse Educator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and conducting Nurse Aide training classes, developing educational materials, and maintaining a resource library.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate/conduct Nurse Aide training classes and testing
  • Develop materials, manuals, and teaching aides
  • Coordinate annual State-mandated inservicing for all employees
  • Coordinate State-mandated training hours for all CNA's
  • Participate in QI meetings to ensure staff training in identified areas of weakness
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective orientation program
  • Conduct/coordinate skills testing
