Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive environmental health and safety programs to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and education to employees on environmental health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to promote a culture of safety and well-being.
  • Develop and manage budgets for environmental health and safety initiatives.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental health and safety management, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
