Job Summary and QualificationsWe are looking for a Nurse Manager for the Advanced Care Unit
Methodist Hospital
who will report to the Director, Vice President, and/or Chief Nursing Officer, facilitating, coordinating, and delegating patient care delivery for a specific group of patients throughout their hospitalization.
This role entails 24-hour responsibility for staffing and managing patient care within designated units, promoting professional nursing practices, and effectively utilizing both human and material resources to meet these responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:- Develop and sustain a high-performing team. Provide leadership and direction for staffing in alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Adjust staffing based on patient needs and census.
- Oversee personnel management including recruitment, work distribution, orientation, training, staff development, conflict resolution, performance evaluation, and employee motivation.
- Ensure unit productivity targets are met.- Plan, organize, facilitate, and direct patient care on a 24-hour basis, adhering to recognized internal and external standards.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience Required
- Preferred experience of 3+ years
- Or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Current Texas RN license required
