Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients for optimal image quality.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment by adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of formal imaging training in an AMA-approved school.
  • Meet requirements for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification.
  • Participate in orientation and continuing education to maintain knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.
Work Environment

This is a clinical setting with routine or potential exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions, or secretions. The physical demands of this role include heavy work, requiring continual and repetitive motions, including heavy lifting, bending, stooping, and twisting, pushing, pulling, crawling, climbing, prolonged walking, and standing.
