About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and inputting Minimum Data Set (MDS) information into the MDI system with high accuracy and adherence to established deadlines. Key duties include:

  • Collecting MDS documents within mandated time frames.
  • Entering data into the MDI system by established deadlines.
  • Comparing entered data against original documents and making corrections as needed.
  • Retrieving and printing feedback reports and validation reports, locking MDS after final validation.
  • Filing MDS documents in residents' charts.
  • Notifying coworkers of any questions or obstacles related to MDS data entry or system issues.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A current and unencumbered RN license in California.
  • At least one year of experience as an MDS Coordinator in a long-term care setting.
  • Preferrable: MDS Certification, knowledge of PDPM, proficiency in MDS 3.0 reimbursements.
  • A High School education or equivalent, with the ability to type at least 50 words per minute.
