Indiana University Health is seeking a dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to enhance our services at Riley Children's Hospital.
Position Overview:
- Full-time role with rotating shifts
- Shift options include 10, 16, and 24-hour schedules
- Focus exclusively on inpatient care
- Collaborate with a skilled team of 30 physicians and 78 advanced practice providers
- Involvement in procedures such as intubation, PICC line placement, UAL/UVL, chest tube insertion, and lumbar puncture
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the delivery of high-risk neonates, develop care plans, and oversee critically ill infants
- Perform essential procedures including intubation, line placements, lumbar punctures, and chest tube insertions
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is mandatory
- Experience in a Level 3-4 NICU is preferred
