Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. This is a full-time and part-time opportunity for a Night Shift RN to provide high-quality patient care in a Christian environment.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and inter-professional colleagues to plan and implement care.
  • Document human responses to actual or potential health problems in the home health environment.
  • Implement the nursing process, coordinate and continuum of care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various other nursing interventions.
  • Function within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice and licensure.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience preferred.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
  • Certificate for Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) preferred.
