About the Role:
Rugged Design Inc is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining multiple multi-axis CNC machines, ensuring high-quality production and meeting tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain multiple CNC machines, including Okuma, Mori Seiki, Tsugami, and Doosan.
- Run and maintain multiple multi-axis CNC machines, ensuring high-quality production and meeting tight tolerances.
- Perform regular quality checks, control scrap and productivity, and manage set-up and tool changes.
- Load raw materials, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and be flexible for assignment changes and overtime.
- Communicate effectively with peers, leaders, and support functions to ensure efficient problem-solving and adaptability.
Requirements:
- Machine Tool Technology Degree or equivalent experience with CNC Lathe Machines.
- 3+ years of relevant experience with CNC Lathe Machines.
- Familiarity with types and uses of various micrometers and other measuring devices.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. on occasion.
- Requires constant standing, walking, sitting, and bending throughout the workday.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, including working in and around moving parts, chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.
- Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the duration of work schedule.

- Hourly non-exempt position, including health, vision, dental, and disability insurance, PTO, and 401K benefits.
- 3 tiered wage bands, shift premiums for 2nd shift and Weekend shift.
