Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team at Wellpath. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assessment, planning, and implementation of patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by healthcare practitioners, ensuring adherence to established protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct vital sign checks, obtain medical histories, and perform other nursing duties as needed to ensure accurate and timely care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and optimal outcomes.
  • Document patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of employment.
  • One year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a clinical or hospital environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance as required by the organization.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.
