Graphic Designer

Elms College is seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team. As the primary graphic designer, you will be responsible for creating top-notch collateral materials for our recruitment, fundraising, education, and institutional promotional efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and produce print and digital materials, including ads, logos, social media graphics, flyers, brochures, posters, and more.
• Manage incoming Marketing Form requests, ensuring they are complete before assigning them to yourself or other Marketing staff members.
• Collaborate with campus clients to gather information and materials needed to fulfill requests.
• Act as a brand expert, educating stakeholders on the importance of adhering to Marketing Department standards.
• Take photos as needed for collateral creation.

Requirements:

• Creative thinker with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work effectively with strong personalities while upholding the best interests of Elms College.
• Excellent presentation and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate and present oneself in a professional manner.
• Strong planning, organizational, time management, and project management skills.
• Proven ability to establish priorities and meet scheduled deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively on teams.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience, preferably in higher education.
• High level of skill in Adobe design suite and audio/video editing, as well as experience with Microsoft Office suite.
