Private Duty Nurse RN

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes, assisting them with transitioning from hospital to home and providing the continuous care needed to remain at home with their loved ones.
Responsibilities- Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
- Provide health education and training to patients and their families
- Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
- Follow up with physicians, patients, families, and staff on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
