We are currently seeking a qualified Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment. This role involves working in diverse settings, providing essential imaging services to patients.
Job Specifications- Specialty: Radiology Technologist
- Discipline: Allied Health Professional
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours
- Shift Length: 10 hours, flexible
- Employment Type: Travel
A minimum of 3 years of experience is preferred, although candidates with less experience may be considered based on their qualifications. Candidates must possess experience in the operating room.
Patient CareThe technologist will work with a variety of patient types, including:
- Outpatient
- Inpatient
- Emergency Department
- Operating Room
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Pediatrics
- Ventilated and Sedated Patients
The position requires familiarity with various imaging equipment, including:
- Portables: Carestream
- GE Rooms
- GE C-arm
On average, the technologist will manage approximately 15-20 patients per day.
Certifications and EducationRequired certifications include:
- Rad Tech: BLS, ARRT
Educational requirements entail being a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Skills and CompetenciesEssential skills for this role include:
- Experience with C-arm
- Familiarity with EPIC (preferred)
- Level 1 or 2 Trauma experience
- Operating Room experience
Charting will be conducted using the EPIC system and Sectra.
