LPN Job Description

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with IntelyCare, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care in post-acute facilities. Our LPNs are hired as W2 employees, with benefits, and have the flexibility to choose shifts at our partner facilities that best fit their lives.

Responsibilities
  • Providing compassionate nursing care to patients in post-acute facilities
  • Monitoring patients' physical and mental conditions and tracking their vital signs
  • Performing resident intakes, documenting medical histories, and tracking health concerns
  • Administering and verifying medications, tracking their use and effects
  • Cultivating a comfortable and safe facility for residents
  • Tracking residents' medical records and charts
  • Assisting with the setup of IVs, immunizations, and phlebotomy procedures
  • Managing medical supplies and maintaining a proper inventory
  • Working with staff to orient and train new colleagues
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current Maryland state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Completion of an approved LPN educational program
  • High school diploma (or GED/equivalent)
  • At least 1 year of experience (LPN or related role)
