Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Provide assistance to customers by answering questions and making recommendations on meat, poultry, and seafood products.

  • Meat Department Operations
    • Receive, rotate, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, seafood, and prepared foods.
    • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including the meat cooler, freezer, and refrigerated display cases.
    • Ensure that all delivered meat meets or exceeds company quality standards.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
    • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats is preferred.
  • Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines is a plus.
  • Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
