Western District Clerk

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Western District Clerk. This role will be responsible for providing administrative support to the District Office, ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks, and maintaining accurate records.

• Perform a variety of clerical duties, including data entry, typing, and filing.
• Answer telephone calls and provide information to the public.
• Prepare and summarize reports, including requisitions, payment vouchers, and time sheets.
• Assist with the procurement of equipment, goods, and services.
• Receive and distribute mail, memoranda, and packages.
• Schedule meetings and appointments.
• Issue licenses and permits through an online system.
• Conduct cash transactions and calculate financial deposits.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in office work.
• Ability to learn and disseminate information on fish and wildlife issues.
• Proficiency with state procurement and licensing systems.

This position is 100% in-person and requires working in a fast-paced office environment. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
