Digital Radiography Field Service Engineer

This role is a critical part of the Field Service Engineering Team at Boston Imaging, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics. As a Field Service Engineer for Samsung Digital Radiography, you will be responsible for the installation, calibration, corrective repair, preventive maintenance, and decommissioning of digital radiography equipment and systems. This will ensure safe and appropriate operations, as well as support other modalities such as Ultrasound.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and maintain documentation of all service events, tests, and corrective maintenance performed on Samsung digital radiography imaging technologies.
- Consult and collaborate with key stakeholders to prepare for installation and deployment of Samsung digital radiography imaging technologies, including electrical, mechanical, gas, pneumatics, software, networking, and integration to data/information retention systems.
- Perform or coordinate assembly and installation, including electrical, mechanical, software, networking, and integration to data/information retention systems.
- Prepare periodic maintenance instructions and perform required safety inspection and performance assurance.
- Assess for compliance with HIPAA storage and security policies and complete documentation for entry into the centralized maintenance management system.
- Ensure compliance with all federal/state/local rules and regulations and all applicable policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience servicing comprehensive imaging equipment, preferably digital and analog radiological technologies in a hospital or related health service environment.
- AAS degree in Biomedical Equipment Service Technology, Electronic Service Technology, or Computer Service Technology from an accredited program or military training in Biomedical Equipment training or Electronic Systems Support or a non-military tech school diploma.
- Must be able to be compliant with hospital credentialing requirements.
