POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Polymer Processing Technician is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the Grinding and Washing processes within the Polymer Center. This role emphasizes adherence to safety protocols and operational standards, ensuring that all processes align with environmental regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and rectify unsafe conditions within the Grinding and Washing operations.
- Implement the manufacturing plan effectively during assigned shifts.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safe functionality.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the Grinding and Washing equipment, ensuring efficient operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Continuously monitor production outputs and waste materials for quality assurance.
- Regularly assess equipment conditions to ensure operational readiness and minimize downtime.
- Document minor maintenance tasks and escalate complex mechanical issues as necessary.
- Complete required reports and communicate any repair needs to supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures diligently.
- Represent the company positively to foster customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Support operational goals to meet or exceed departmental objectives.
- Encourage a collaborative team environment to enhance employee engagement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least one year of experience in manufacturing or recycling environments.
