Job Description:

As a Shift Lead at Walgreens, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the store during your shift. This includes opening and closing the store, managing cash handling, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Experience:
    • Engage with customers and patients to provide excellent service and resolve any issues that may arise.
    • Model and share customer service best practices with team members to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Operations:
    • Manage cash handling and ensure accurate records are kept.
    • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
    • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the stockroom and back door.
  • Training & Personal Development:
    • Attend training sessions and complete PPLs as requested by management.
    • Communicate assigned tasks to team members when management is not present.
Requirements:
  • One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of store inventory control.
  • Valid PTCB or ExCPT certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
