We are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to join our team and contribute to the success of our new manufacturing facility.
Job Summary:The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of production employees to ensure the safe and efficient manufacture of high-quality products. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and assign personnel effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the safety of employees and enforce safety protocols as a core value.
- Assign personnel to meet production objectives and coordinate training and competency programs.
- Communicate daily performance and identify root causes of special-cause circumstances.
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Plant leadership to implement actions to correct ongoing production issues.
- Develop and improve programs for departmental safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Ensure all employees follow policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Associate's Degree plus 3 years' experience in manufacturing or 5 years' successful supervisor experience in a multi-shift manufacturing operation.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, assign personnel, and monitor for timely and cost-effective completion.
- Strong understanding of production processes and equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and other computer applications.
