Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of production employees to ensure the safe and efficient manufacture of high-quality products. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and assign personnel effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safety of employees and enforce safety protocols as a core value.
  • Assign personnel to meet production objectives and coordinate training and competency programs.
  • Communicate daily performance and identify root causes of special-cause circumstances.
  • Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Plant leadership to implement actions to correct ongoing production issues.
  • Develop and improve programs for departmental safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
  • Ensure all employees follow policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree plus 3 years' experience in manufacturing or 5 years' successful supervisor experience in a multi-shift manufacturing operation.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, assign personnel, and monitor for timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and equipment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and other computer applications.
