We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit. As a RN Intermediate Care, you will provide exceptional care to patients receiving acute medical/surgical care for diseases and conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient's clinical condition and results of diagnostic studies.
- Perform nursing duties as needed in the continuum of care for all patients.
- Participate in process improvement efforts and activities for the department.
- Current State of Utah Registered Nurse License or RN license in a Compact State.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification within 7 days from start date.
- Associates Degree in Nursing required.
- Past RN employment in high acuity area hospital or LTAC.
